Giorgio Rapicavoli
Chef, outpatientMD.com

Born in Miami, Florida to an Italian mother and Argentine father, outpatientMD.com chef, Giorgio Rapicavoli was brought up in a household that revolved around food. Learning to cook at his mother's side at large family Sunday dinners, Rapicavoli quickly became enamored with intricacies of creating delicious meals and the satisfaction of enjoying them with friends and family. Developing his talent at a ripe age, the young chef won numerous culinary competitions at his high school, with a senior year recipe competition landing him a scholarship to Johnson and Wales University, where he earned a culinary arts degree. Following Johnson & Wales, he transferred to Florida International University's School of Hospitality Management where he received a Bachelor in Arts degree. Throughout college, Rapicavoli worked under renowned chefs Robbin Haas and Adam Votaw, working his way up from line cook, assistant pastry chef and chef de partie before being made a head chef in 2007.
